Dev Anand Memorial Service

A memorial service will be held at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai on Friday for legendary actor, producer and director Dev Anand. The star passed away in London on December 3.

Later, he was cremated in London’s Putney Vale cemetery on 10 December. The actor’s son, Suneil Anand arrived in India on Wednesday and went to Nashik to immerse Dev Anand’s ashes in the Godavari River.

Suniel Anand revealed that his father classic film, ‘Guide’ would soon be released in technicolour. Speaking to a daily, Suneil said, “An American company has restored Guide. It’s being converted to wide screen and we will do a fresh soundtrack, maybe in the Czech Republic (where full scale orchestras are available to undertake such challenges at reasonable cost).”"It’s a big, big responsibility, the world is watching me, I will have to live up to their expectations,” said Suneil Anand.
