2ft tall Jyoti Amge of Nagpur becomes the world’s shortest woman, India – Guinness Records

Jyoti Amge becomes the world’s shortest woman, JyotiAmge is just 62.8 centimeters tall, 6.2 cm shorter than 22-year old American Bridgette Jordan, who has held the title since September 2011.

Indian student Jyoti Amge is 18 years old and stands just 24.7 inches tall. Amge was conferred the title on Friday as she celebrated her 18th birthday in the city of Nagpur. “It is wonderful to celebrate my 18th birthday with a new world record, it’s like an added birthday present,” said Jyoti Amge.
