Snger Ali Zafar, who has won hearts of millions with his debut film “Tere Bin Laden” has been nominated in three prestigious Bollywood awards.Ali zafar is one of Pakistan’s more popular exports to India, who won a million hearts with his maiden Bollywood venture, “Tere Bin Laden”.Ali Zafar, the Pakistani pop icon, says he has no plans to test the waters in Lollywood (Pak film industry).
This has happened for the first time since no Pakistani actor has been nominated by any Bollywood awards before. He was nominated as best debut (male) in Zee cine awards (14th Jan), most promising newcomer (male) in Filmfare awards 2011 (29th Jan) and star screen awards 2011.
Though he did not get any award in Singapore at Zee Cine awards but Ali Zafar feels lucky for the love and recognition he got from his debut film. On a social networking website he wrote
“Had the best time ever at the awards. Not just because of all the respect from the fraternity but the company of the most beautiful woman on earth…. my wife!”
