Birmingham: Indian seamers bowled a good line and length in the first hour of second day’s play of the third Test at Birmingham as they did not offer any freebies to the English openers on Thursday.
India started the bowling with S Sreesanth and Praveen Kumar and both seemed a lot better than what they were in the last session on day one.
The home side finished the day with 84 for no loss after skittling India for 224 in the first innings on Wednesday.
On Day one, English seamers yet again wrecked havoc, taking stuffing out of Indian batting lineup that, it appears, is yet to come to grips to swinging and seaming English conditions.
For the fifth time in a row, Indian famed batting lineup failed to deliver and couldn’t reach anywhere near 300-run mark.
With already 2-0 down in the series, if India lose this match then they will surely lose their number one Test spot to England.
